Tudor Golubenco has graduated the Computer Science and Engineering Faculty from the Polytechnics University of Bucharest in 2006, doing his diploma project at FOKUS Fraunhofer Institute in Berlin. Since then, he is working with Iptego, a company offering solutions to VoIP providers. He is currently the lead developer for iptego Voip Security Pack (VSP), a Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) focused on SIP. Other projects include a software L7 load balancer for SIP and SPIDER, a research project that aims efficient detection and prevention of SPIT (SPAM over Internet Telephony).
As a developer, his preferred programming languages are C, for where faster is better, and Python, for where performance isn’t important. His areas of expertise include VoIP, security, parallel programming and mobility. More details about his work can be found on the projects page.
